About Me

I'm a mother, daughter, dog mom, crocheter, cross stitcher, and (drumroll please) a quilter.  Never a dull moment.

After a long workday, kids are tucked in for the night, I'm often in my little sewing room late at night or on the rare quiet weekend cutting, sewing, and creating to my hearts content. Hence the reason for this blog.  What better way to share my love of quilting and creating with others than showcasing the quilting journey through blog posts full of pictures, mistakes, creations, and beautiful fabric that make up a quilt.

I love visiting my local quilt store and participating in the local Shop Hops as my work and family schedule allow.   It's incredible inspiring to hear and see what others are doing as well.  Most of what I have learned has come from my mother (who has been quilting for over 30 years), youtube videos, and A LOT of trial and error.
